Final Product Analysis - Michael Hickey

I am very happy with the outcome of our groups Album and Tour Poster. I think that the black and white theme works really well with our poster and album as it reflects hoziers music and the tone of the music video and album. I think that we have successfully taken aspects from each of our posters and album to create this final product. Even though conner burgess' work was what we worked of for the final product i feel that each of our own aspects are shown through it. For example the logo that i had created are used throughout our final products as well as some of the photoshop techniques i used in my album to create the inside pages. I feel that our tour poster is very effective as it has a very professional outlook and resembles a real tour poster that would be used in this genre. I feel that the album we have made reflects the song "Take me to Church" really well. The partially used colour indicates the vibe and mood of hoziers music and is relevant to the story behind the song and how he is being persecuted for his sexuality. The black and white allows us to portray the bleakness of the song and colour shows the mixed emotions and contrast of the character.
